Overall I feel that this project has gone really well, I feel like I have put together a real life business plan that I could put in to place after I finish my degree. I have used theory, both primary and secondary research to support my plan and from these I feel that I have identified that there is a gap in the market for a sole trader social media manager.

The lectures have been very informative in telling us what to include in our plans and helping to guide us along this project. I feel that I have worked hard each week in order to complete a successful plan. Asking any questions that are needed along the way.

The most exciting element of this project has been the creative side, I feel like I have shown my creatively along side my academic skills within this project. I enjoyed making the video and this project has helped me to develop my iMovie maker skills and I feel that this is really important because if I put my business plan in to place I wanted to show of my creative skills to the potential target audience as much as possible.

The most challenging part of the business plan was putting together the sales forecast, however after primary research and seeing that there is a need for a social media manager within the independent and start up business sector I gathered that I could gain 1-3 new clients every 3-4 months.

The academic theories that we have learnt through the year have been very useful and have helped me form and idea of how these can be put in to place when planning and marketing a new business idea. I understand the importance of these models and how they can help make a successful business. Particularly with PESTEL as it allow you to look at the wider environment and how this could have an effect on your business.

I have been very organized and prepared through the whole of this project, which has allowed me to compete my work on time without any stress, or worry and this gave me time at the end of the project to go over and improve any work that was needed. 

Another major aspect to this report for me was research, I wanted to make sure that every point I made I was about to back it up with both primary and secondary research this way I was about to show my business idea was viable. I did this by completing secondary online search and by reading books. As well as primary research interviewing business owners and asking shoppers to complete a survey regarding online and social media.  

I feel happy to have completed my 2^nd year with the knowledge, academic and research skills to complete and in-dept report. And feel that is term has prepared me for my 3^rd year of studies and the working world.
